Bonaire is known to be one of the best when it comes to diving. Bonaire ranks third on world list of most beautiful dive areas. Diving is so popular because you can dive from the shore almost everywhere on the southwest side of the island. There are over 80 diving spots along the coast, and at Klein Bonaire. You’ll recognize them at the yellow painted stones at the side of the roads. Every place has its own name; for example Oil Slick Leap and Witches Hut are two of them. Bonaire's calm west coast waters make entering the water for your dive safe and easy. During a dive it is possible you’ll meet a dolphin or a sea turtle!

Snorkeling

Bonaire offers snorkelers the opportunity to swim along shallow terraces, face to face with the most beautiful and colourful fish. You can make a snorkel trip by boat, visit the snorkel areas along the coast, or take the water taxi to Klein Bonaire, where there are many superb outstanding snorkel places.
